| Peafowl have to be the stateliest gamebird available. The Peacock strutting in the sun can hardly be compared to anything else. India Peafowl are a hardy bird, the common species that is seen on farms and in zoo settings. They tolerate cold weather and heat well. Peafowl can be trained to come into a coop at night but require more time to learn than Chickens and Guinea Fowl. They can be housed in a pen with no problems, living side-by-side with Chickens, Guineas or Pheasants. This is truly a unique bird to have around. It gives you an air of paradise to see Peafowl roaming on your property. We have a few varieties of India Peafowl, including: India Blue, White and Blackshoulder. | Guinea Fowl have so many abilities to offer- this is why they are so popular. Guinea Fowl are used primarily for ranging. They destroy ticks, mosquito's, black flies and weeds. They are also good producers of dark meat and good eggs. Guinea Fowl eggs are very healthy and work great when being used in baking. Guinea Fowl also have an ornamental aspect to them. We have Guineas that are blue, polka-dotted, tan, violet, unspotted, white and more. We have done extensive work in breeding our very own new Guinea Fowl varieties. There are so many that there has to be one that catches your eye. Guineas are also used as 'the barnyard watchdog' because they will alert other animals and fowl to any danger. Guineas can be trained and tamed to a degree. They are a great addition to any farm, homestead or rural property. | This is the most colorful gamebird. The adult male has a crest like that of a Peacock. He displays orange, red, green, blue, purple, gold and black plumage! Every feather except the tail is metallic. The Impeyan Pheasant male looks like something you could only picture in the best fantasy films. This robust Pheasant has a blue orbital wattle around the eye and a thick curved beak. Large claws and short legs are what these birds use to dig. They are such an intriguing bird with their courtship, calls and digging behavior. This endangered bird is very hard to come by.
